Dr. Temitope ASHIPA

About Me:

Dr. Temitope Ashipa is a seasoned professional in the field of Public Health and Community Medicine with over a decade of training medical students, student nurses and community health officers among others. She is a Senior lecturer in the Department of Community Medicine at the Benjamin Carson College of Health and Medical Sciences of Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria. She is also an honorary consultant in the Department of Community Medicine where she renders clinical services and is involved the training of medical students and resident doctors in the specialty of Community Medicine. Dr. Ashipa is an experienced clinical researcher and has her published research work in several peer reviewed journals. Her research interests include preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV, Tuberculosis/HIV co-infection, career aspirations of medical students among others.  Membership of professional associations:  She is a member of several professional bodies including:  i. Nigerian Medical Association, Ogun State branch (Member)  ii. Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria (Member)  iii. Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (Member)  iv. Medical Women Association of Nigeria (Member)
