The Babcock University Teaching Hospital (BUTH) Department of Haematology & Blood Transfusion is celebrating the 10th anniversary of World Thrombosis Day with a campaign called “Move Against Thrombosis.”
Thrombosis is a condition in which a blood clot forms in a blood vessel, blocking blood flow. This can lead to serious health problems, such as stroke, heart attack, and pulmonary embolism.
The goal of the “Move Against Thrombosis” campaign is to raise awareness of thrombosis and its risk factors, and to encourage people to take steps to reduce their risk.
The campaign will include a variety of activities, such as:

Fitness challenge
